8 Days Uganda Culture & Gorilla Safari
Day 1 Arrival at the Airport
On arrival, our company guide will welcome you at the airport and take you to the hotel for the night, dinner, and breakfast in the morning. This is where our guide will pick you for your trip
Day 6 Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park (Whispers of the Wild)
In the morning you are transferred to Lake Mburo National park. It is a journey of 2 hours. Check into your lodge and later after lunch go for a game drive through the park.
Day 7 Departure to the Airport.
Morning game drive will depend on the schedule of your flight since it’s optional. After the game drive, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight.
The package includes: Transportation by safari vehicle. Accommodation and meals as per itinerary. En-route lunches. Visit the Batwa cultural trail. Golden monkey tracking. Mountain Hiking. Driver allowances. The package excludes: The expenses of personal nature like Airfare, Uganda Visa, Luxury drinks, laundry, tips to local guides, telephone, and porter fee while trekking, personal insurance, personal shopping bills, and cigarettes, and any other item not mentioned above.
Day 2 Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National park
After breakfast, our guide will pick you up for your journey to Bwindi at 8.00 am. This journey is 8 hours, you will stop in Mbarara for lunch and other stops of 20 minutes twice or thrice during the journey before reaching Bwindi. You will reach Bwindi at 4.30 or 5.00 pm and check into your jungle lodge.
Day 3 Gorilla trekking at Bwindi Impenetrable N.P
After breakfast, the guide will take you to the park for gorilla trekking with the rangers in the park. Trekking takes usually 4 hours. Have lunch and then go for a community walk and later do the game drive at night.
Day 4 Bwindi Cultural Trail & Drive to Lake Bunyonyi.
In the morning after your breakfast, you will be taken for a community walk and interact with the community living near the game park and learn how they contribute to the conservation of the game park and its animals. After the community walk, you will have lunch and after lunch, you will be driven to Lake Bunyonyi.
Day 5 Lake Bunyonyi Island tour & a Drive to Ankole Culture trail.
Have breakfast and then head off to Lake Bunyonyi for a brief history about the lake and do bird watching since it’s a base for many species of birds. After lunch, you will be transferred to Mbarara the city of the Ankole Kingdom, and make a community walk and visit the Ankole museum at Igongo. You spend a night in Mbarara.
